However, with photo galleries, a picture IS worth a 1000 words, and therefore the subject makes for the best user experience. And, of course, usability is always key in any environment.

Flipbooks

Flipbooks are an interactive way of presenting in book form. Turning pages is similar to turning the pages on a real book using one's mouse, and the pages are numbered. With today's wider screens, flipbooks can be a very nice way to present design portfolios, photo albums, introductory chapters to novels and more.
