After our meeting you will receive an outline of our discussion to confirm our understanding of your wishes. From that outline, we prepare a proposal tailored to your specifications.

Designing Your Website

Once you've contracted The Web Professional, Inc., your custom website will require an initial design consultation during which we gather information, such as proprietary images, ideas about what you like in color and layout, and marketing materials you are using to promote your company. This gives us a sense of direction in developing design concepts.

For our custom design contracts, we typically provide three website design concepts to be presented for your consideration. With your feedback, we create a final design concept around which your pages will be built. Web page designs are reviewed online or in person depending on your Internet access. We are happy to meet with you to discuss adjustments or can work with you by phone and email as well.

While we're working on your design concepts, you can help us by pulling together photographs and preparing the text to appear on each page.

Reaching the Finish Line

When we've got all of your materials (photographs, proprietary graphics, such as your logo, and your editorial copy) and an approved design, we can move rapidly toward completing your website.

When you contract The Web Professional, our commitment to you includes fulfillment of the following responsibilities:

• Coordination of any website-related subcontractors and consultants for the duration of the project to ensure all team members are meeting deadlines and working within established parameters.
• Web Hosting & Email
  • We will upload your completed website to your hosting company. (If you do not have a web host, we will be happy to provide recommendations and guidance.)
  • Email accounts can be set up on your behalf, and we are pleased to provide instructions for setting up email clients, such as Outlook and Outlook Express.

The Final Website Package

Once your site is launched, you will have 30 days to review and request minor adjustments where needed. We then organize your website in a binder to include:

• Electronic copy of your website
• Color printout of your website
• Hosting service documentation
• Domain name registration documentation
• Tracking service documentation
• Email documentation and instructions
